Straight off the bat, this sounds like Arcade Fire. From the first track, it just falls apart and goes down hill completely. 50 seconds in, I know what it's going to be like, was looking forward to the album, but as soon as I heard the vocals, woah.. What just happened?
It's the same with some bands, where the vocalists leads the direction, doesn't matter on the music, this style of vocalist will change your opinion. This did happen, as it went from a melodic build-up, which ended up being an Emo like, bad lyrics, bad chorus and bad progression. I don't want to be harsh, but this is usually what I stay away from, this style of music is suited to the Brunette girls that dye their hair Red to be part of the scene.

The first three tracks are very similar, the fourth has a more Electronic based style, this makes very little difference. This is partly due to the extremely repetitive drumming, but mostly because the vocalist sounds awful.
For the rest of the album, it doesn't change. Track 7, This Is Violet, is my favourite, because it actually doesn't stick to the exact same style and progression as the previous 6, it has a focus on guitar, this drives the song, the vocalist is again terrible, cant help this now, from track 1 it was going to be like this.
Overall, this band is like a bad Killers tribute act, nothing astonished me, nothing caught my ear, nothing was spectacular enough to warrant a 'good' message from myself.
