Nicki Minaj is a bad bitch. That's not libellous because she says it in
[almost] every single track she's ever released. It's been brought to my attention
that Nicki Minaj has released tracks far worse than "Super Bass" and
"Starships". This abomination of a 'single' was produced by Kenoe,
who also made the beat. She lets 2 Chainz rap a verse and that turns out
painfully awful, I mean... Listen to some decent hip-hop/rap and come back, Jesus
Christ.
Listening to "Beez In The Trap" is a bit like purposely lowering
your own IQ level. Minaj raps, "Bitches ain't shit and they ain't
sayin' nothing" / "A hundred motherfuckers
can't tell me nothing." It’s a clear indication of her terrible
rhyming and repetetive pro-life self-appreciating nature. She references a
quite sexist Dr. Dre track, "Bitches Aint' Shit". "I beez
in the trap, bee beez in the trap," adds Minaj; commenting on her
position in the 'rap game' making money. The track itself is hardly
experimental, technical or anything out of the ordinary. It's a plain and
simple Nicki Minaj track with her typical annoying attributes like god awful
lyrics and terrible rhyming.
'What is the point of Nicki Minaj?' asks the music critic from a traditional
conservative (UK) area. Her lyrics are neither informative nor interesting. 2
Chainz raps comically about the size of his penis in his annoying voice. His
high pitched 'pussy' vocal does not match the instrumental at all. Her last
could have been written by a four year old, and that's not an insult in any
way, it literally could, "It's that New Orleans, it’s LA or The Bay.
It's New York, Philly, and the whole DMV." Minaj wears a bikini
while delivering this verse in the music video. W?h?a?t??t?h?e??f?u?c?k?
This track isn't a conventional Nicki Minaj single. It's different lyrically,
musically and the message is different. Her other singles tend to be catchy in
a sense, or at least 'fun'. I see "Beez In The Trap" as an experiment
to whether or not fans will buy into her even if she's releasing something
surprisingly different to her norm. The answer is yes, they are still buying in
to her, even if this single is a pile of shit.
